Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
Ever since a child, I have always been drawing. Cartoons, animated movies and games have had a huge influence on me. In the beginning, it was only copying cartoon and game characters in my sketchbook which I brought with me everywhere. Somewhere along the way of replicating art, I started producing my own. Illustrating different objects, both real and imaginary, became more than a hobby.
This is the third year of my 3d journey. I was a traditional artist for a long time. I am still sometimes, but two years ago and few months I decided to focus on 3d modeling, trying to improve my skill in order to land a job as a 3d artist. My goal is to create believable and terrifying creatures and maybe manage to tell their story along the way. I still got a lot to learn but I will get there.
Many years ago I realized, I have had a career in which I had to leave the world of 3D focused on architecture due to the 2008 crisis. I was working in another sector but always with an eye on the world of 3D and in 2019 I stopped what I was doing and took a course to recycle my knowledge and be able to return to where I feel most comfortable, in the world of 3D.
As a child I dreamed of having a Pokémon as a pet, it was a very childish dream but then I had the idea to recreate them in the real world and 3D was the most "accessible" way to realize this dream. The 3D allows to create a complete universe and to give the illusion that this universe is real. So I really got into 3D 2 years ago when I wanted to enter the Brassart school by following tutorials on Blender.
I was dreaming about working in creative industry and 3D world since I was 10 years old. I first started playing with Blender in 2007 when I was 14 years old, but for a very long time I could only do the most basic stuff. Now at 27 years old I'm finally studying 3D modeling and animation for a 2nd year and I have never felt more passionate about creating a portfolio I'm really proud of and making it into the industry.
Limitless passion and love for video games art couldn't restrict my craving to create game environments that inspire, feel, and live in it. As a self-taught artist for the past 3 years, specialized in building game environments with skills in industry-standard game engines & art tools. Although I am currently working in a different domain in IT, I realized and decided that my work has to be my passion and since then I'm working towards my goal of getting myself up to the expected level.
I’ve always loved to create different thing with my computer. I started shooting and editing videos for my own pleasure when I was 14. Thanks to this, I became aware of details and time spent on each step that goes into movies or video games. After watching many 3D animated movies, I knew that’s what I wanted to do: give life to stories with CG!
I started with video editing back in 2016 when I had just graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of my hometown Bergamo. I approached 3D art during early 2019 and fell in love with the craft. Enrolled in CG Spectrum last february and took my Diploma in Foundations in VFX and Game Design last October. I am now sure I want to be part of this incredible industry.
From wanting to be a Software Engineer, to a Graphic Designer, Motion Graphic Designer, I went on dreaming about being an artist. I always knew I wanted to be a creator of some sort, I have always been passionate about Movies and games, I knew being a VFX artist would be IT. All My childhood I've been obsessed about Movies and Games Now finally i have a chance to help make them.
