Andrea Mamessier - Evelynn Blood Moon and Simon the gecko 

Inspired by the original splash art drew by Esben Lash for League of Legends, I made my own version of a CG realistic bust of Evelynn Blood Moon. It is a skin designed for the Riot Games and this one represents Evelynn, a demon who is charming her prey.

Process

As I wanted to do a bust, I don't wanted to reproduce her exactly as the artwork. Here, I wanted something closer, just as if she was trying to embrace the viewer but it was important to me to keep that low angle that gives her so much power over us, simple humans. 

Lightings

I used Evelynn demon side as a potential threat in a horror movie. I created this lighting as it could actually be a horror movie poster.

Simon the gecko

Say "Hi !" to Simon. He is pretty shy...

For the lighting, it was important to bring warm and artificial lights to reproduce the atmospher of the inside of a vivarium. A top lighting helps a lot to give this strong impression. 

Then to create the vivarium itself, I wanted to make Simon the star of a pet shop. But as every celebrity, Simon doesn't want to be pet all day long by his fans. Still, he is very joyful and adorable, Simon has big and expressive eyes that gives geckos their unique cute look. Standing on a piece of wood with few vegetation to hide, this gecko has everything to be happy!
