This week I decided to recreate the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter. I used Maya to model, ZBrush to sculpt, Substance Painter to texture, Arnold to render, and Nuke to polish the raw images.

I mimicked the lighting theme used in the first Harry Potter movie: orange and blue.
The background is inspired by the wall behind the teacher's table in the Great Hall.
