Ancient jaguar head statue

For this week's #RookiesWeeklyDrills I chose the jaguar-head statue from the Chavin the Huantar museum in Peru. The original is made from white rock and is corroded and damaged, but here I experimented with different looks.  #MuseumArtifact.

For the final render I thought a museum showcase would be more appropriate

Experiments in Painter, first a stylized and then an old-chinese-bronze kind of feel.

The model was sculpted in blender, retopologized by hand, and baked in substance painter
