Hamsa
Hamsa is a 3D Student Short Film created by Daniela Dwek, Chrisy Baek and Maya Mendonca and produced at SVA NYC. On a trip to the market, a young Israeli girl walks with her mother, who reinforces the fear of “the other”. However, when chaos strikes she finds that the people she was once afraid of are not so bad.

Synopsis
A young Israeli girl is oblivious to the historical conflict she lives in. On a trip to the market, her mother reinforces her fear of “the other”. However, when chaos strikes she finds that the people she was once afraid of are not so bad.
When faced with a common danger, humanity teaches the people of this world that one must put his/her differences aside because we are all the same.
The Software used to produce this film include Autodesk Maya, XGen Interactive Grooming, Substance Painter, Nuke, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and was rendered with Arnold 5.
