My first year
I am currently an architectural visualization student at YRGO in Gothenburg. Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve known that I want to work with architecture and design in some way. Watch some of my work from my first year as an arch-viz student below!
THE VILLA
Brief: ”Visualize an advertising image of a residence by using CAD-drawings. The house must be shaped including the specifications in the drawing.”
This was my first time to practice exterior images, and also to use V-ray render, forest pack and rail clone.
The villa I picked for this project was a modern soutterain house, and the moment I saw the floor plans, I imagined a house on the swedish west-coast.
I really feel like I captured that image and that the result is what I aimed for. Scroll down for progress and result.

URBAN ARCHITECTURE
During the spring 2023, we got the opportunity to work together with Pixelflakes. We were provided with material from a previous project of theirs and got to make our own interpretation of it.
The project was based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, and the goal was to sell an image of the new "cultural heart", which included gardens, a museum, a library, a food hall and a venue.
We got to choose our own camera view and concept, based of the information given.
Materials that we were handed was revit-files of the buildings, information with material, landscape and paving and other necessities to understand what the goal was.

MODELLING
During this project, I got to model an existing chair by using reference photos and very simple 2D-drawings of the chair. I chose to model the ”N-SC01” chair by Karimoku Case Study.
The chair was presented with studio images, detail images and also an selling image were it is placed in an enviroment.
I got a lot of tools in my backpack for future projects where I need to model furniture or other props on my own.
RENOVATION
The goal of this project was to creat selling images from a house on the market that is in need of renovation.
I wanted to keep all of the beautiful details that the house came with, and to be as contemporary as possible since the house was built more than 80 years ago.
The biggest goal here was to create an interior based of a plan sketch and to learn the importance to match the style of a house to its surroundings.
Down below you can see the original images of the property and the visualization I made.
