The Building

A simple building modelled in 3DS Max shown with the London cityscape as the background. To illuminate the interior of the building a variation of lights with Corona Scatter and self illuminated planes was used.

Helicopter model used is Sea Hawk SH-60 by iSteven.

Software used: 3DS Max // Corona Renderer // Corona Scatter// Adobe Photoshop

CARGO 25 North Colonnade

For this project we had the pleasure to collaborate with Assembly Studios on a visualisation of the existing CARGO building located on 25 North Colonnade in London. My intention for the concept was highlighting important local characteristics as London's central business district.

Software used: 3DS Max // Corona Renderer // Adobe Photoshop // RailClone

The Hotel

For this project a concept for a hotel and spa in Ho-Chi Minh, Vietnam was created. The interiors were designed with traditional Vietnamese architecture in mind, while also being mindful to pay homage to Vietnamese heritage without neglecting contemporary comfort. The materials that are utilized is concrete, steel, glass and traditional local wood along with some lush greenery that is very prominent in Vietnam.

Software used: 3DS Max // Corona Renderer // Adobe Photoshop // Adobe InDesign

Matte Painting

For this matte painting assignment the task was to depict a scene using a rough 3D base created in 3ds Max and photographic elements in Photoshop. A reference picture was used as a guideline to build the scene and the photographs were adjusted to match the reference and the tone of the composition.

A video showing the process of creating this image in Photoshop.

Software used: 3DS Max // Corona Renderer // Adobe Photoshop

Jens Chair designed by Antonio Citterio

This project was an introductory exercise to more detailed modeling in 3ds Max where we were assigned to model a chair of our choice. I chose to model the Jens Chair designed by Antonio Citterio as part of this assignment.

Software used: 3DS Max // Corona Renderer // Adobe Photoshop

The Villa

House modeling assignment using pre-existing floor plans and facade details. The assignment focused on the use of Rail Clone and Forest Pack to efficiently create environments and structural details.
