Hello Everyone, I present ARkid, the augmented reality viewer. With an elegant and sober design, it seeks to innovate by focusing on the user and their experience with the product. In this way Arkid is designed for the educational field, looking for materials that are resistant but also affordable in order to offer the same opportunities to everyone.

AR is an innovative and emerging technology that is beginning to revolutionize our world and is still in its infancy, therefore, what better time to start investing and implementing this technology than applying it to those who have as much to offer the world as the new ones. generations.

The goal is to achieve that, just as in AR the virtual and the physical meet, new technologies and teaching teaching methods are founded to provide a renewed vision of the world and of what this reality can contribute.

With ARkid, the aim is that AR can reach schools faster than the incorporation of computers in schools. Today, homes are much more technologically equipped than schools and institutes and it is time to invest in the education of the youngest.

To this end, Arkid is an intuitive product for teachers and students seeking to bridge the digital divide, so that teachers can teach classes that seek creative solutions and deductive thinking, teach in variety and diversity, not just read the book that are in front of you.

How ARkid works?

To this end, Arkid is an intuitive product for teachers and students seeking to bridge the digital divide, so that teachers can teach classes that seek creative solutions and deductive thinking, teach in variety and diversity, not just read the book that are in front of you.

In addition, with ARkid and AR, the possibilities expand, each class can be unique and that makes students also pay more attention, knowing that they have a predilection for a more visual format of learning. In the following pages we will explain what differentiates Arkid from other augmented reality viewers.

Materials and market differentiation

ARkid's neoprene cover allows it to adapt to the length and width of different smartphones on the market. It is chemically bonded to the case, with an acetate treated with a light-enhancing resin that helps the projection of the smartphone image on the visor.

As a differentiation from the competition, the visor through which the user experiences the augmented reality experience can be adjusted in height thanks to an axis similar to that of motorcycle helmets. On this axis it has a predetermined position and two alternatives to choose the one that best suits the person's eye level.

This is taken into account due to the different and varied head shapes of young people, in this way they are allowed to better enjoy this technology. It has three positions in which it is calibrated to work with perfect accuracy and create a realistic reproduction of the virtual in the real world. It also has a fourth position that will help when it comes to storage.

Design

Because the strap is flexible we can bring it closer to the forehead padding and thanks to the visor shaft we can take it until it looks like the image on the left. With this we managed to reduce the total size of the product in half.

This small gesture generates a simple way of storage and transport that will facilitate its use and exchange between classes, something very important for a product focused on the education sector.

This will generate a positive user experience when dealing with a product designed to facilitate its use on a day-to-day basis.

The controller with which the open app is controlled on your smartphone is designed to facilitate its use with both one and two hands. Connected by bluetooth with the smartphone, it will allow you to control the app without cables.

The intuitive operation of the remote consists of only 3 buttons and a touchpad, which helps to use it quickly and easily. The buttons are the power button on the remote, the menu / back, and the button to accept the trigger at the bottom of the remote. 

Because of cover it's open on one side, it allows charging the smartphone either in the product's resting position or in use, since many applications allow them to be used without having to move, in addition to that they tend to work better in a static environment.

In addition to charging your device, the same hole ends up connecting your headphones to listen to the app or music while you use it.

To Finalize

With a minimalist and sober packaging, it seeks to gain as much space as possible for its transport as well as to show the universal values of the product whose objective is to reach as many people as possible.
