FOREST KEEPER'S SHELF

I wanted to expand off of the original concept by Min.K Shin, imagining what a space might look like centered around this shelf. For this project, my main focus was storytelling with small details, as well as growing my hand painting skills. It was an incredible process-learning the intricacies of composition, set dressing, foliage creation, and painting a 3D scene in an illustrative style.

Texturing was the most satisfying part of this project. I love painting in the small details like bruises on the fruit or water droplets on the sink counter. Small things like this can really make a piece come to life.
