Rhino was my first 3D character at Universal Arts School. The goal was to get a 2D concept art into 3D, and for this project I used as reference a fan art made by Andy Greiling.

I used ZBrush for sculpting the high poly model. During this process, I follow some steps to get the final result: blocking, sculpting, details, and more details! I always focus on getting the correct anatomy proportions before adding any detail.
I used Maya for retopology, avoiding distorted loops, spirals and N-gons. Then, UVs and smoothing groups were made on Cinema 4D. Finally, I used Substance Painter for the textures, using PBR metallic roughness settings; and I set illumination and final renders on Marmoset Toolbag 4.
