Mouse House

Hi! This is my second personal project for PlaygroundSquad, which took around 4 weeks - lasting around late May to early June. 

I had difficulty the first two days as I couldn't decide on what to make, but a classmate kindly gave me their idea of a miniature home.

As previously, I did this with my own ideas- and inspiration boards. In this scene I wanted to imitate a cosy home for little guys, in this case, mice. I had fun learning new things such as blue printing (animation), water, and simple grass physics. I also challenged myself by using a minimal amount of textures, consisting of two atlases and one trim. As well as a foliage texture, and three wood textures (as I wanted variation and did that kind of wrong, but, it's a learnig lesson)!

I had a lot of fun making it as I learned what I should do- and not do for my future endeavours. Overall, I think the end result is okay, it's very cute and has some story to it. I wish I could've done more such as minor animations to the furniture and what not, I managed to do so with the blueberry in the cup pool at least:)
