Hello ! I'm glad to be able to share with you what I've been working on for the past 5 months. For my second year at ESMA Montpellier, I hade to work on a horror game project in group. I took that opportunity to improve my 3d modeling and texturing skills as well as learning the 3D pipeline for a game-ready 3d Character.

I started by making some 3D concept using Zbrush for Modeling and PureRef to display my inspirations and references.

The character was modeled in Zbrush, I used Maya for retopology and Uvs unwrapping, Substance Painter for the lowpoly on highpoly bake and texturing, and MarmosetToolbag for rending with raytracing.

For the Game-ready Assets I created for the horror game, I used Maya and Zbrush for modeling and Highpoly, Substance painter for baking lowpoly on highpoly and texturing, substance designer to create some specific materials, marvelous designer for the clothes and fabrics, MarmosetToolbag for rendering.

I first created a PureRef scene to display my references and inspirations while trying to get as close as possible to the mood we wanted for our horror game.

The porcelain dolls were created to be Main assets used to solve a puzzle. They represent the protagonist of the game and his gone little sister.

I really enjoyed this project and look forward to learning more and improving on 3D modeling assets and characters !
