Compositing Showreel 2024 - Garance Micol

Hi everyone ! My name is Garance Micol, i'm a 4th year student at ArtFX an d i'm a Digtal Compositor.

I present to you my demo reel for this year. It includes school projects and freelance projects.

Below, I'll share more about my creative process, the challenges I encountered, and the solutions I applied.

In this shot, the idea was to integrate the characters in front of a forest fire. I started with keying, then did DMP, gradually incorporating stock shots. 

In this shot, the characters are in front of the fire. I had to integrate smoke and generate and integrate particles.

Here, I had to do cleanup to remove the shadow of the boom pole that was continuously present in this shot.

 In this school project, we had to integrate one or more elements with the background. I handled all the technical aspects.

In this other school project, i need to match-mov the camera in order to integrate elements in the screen, on the cap and around the woman.
