David Sánchez | Deep Compositing | The Compositing Academy

Hello! This year I'm entering The Rookies Awards with this Deep Compositing project, done at The Compositing Academy (NK707), which I've been working on for a few months now.

It's entirely made in The foundry Nuke and it's a full CG shot. 

Although the aim of the course is to learn the workflow in a composition using Deep passes, I have also learnt and practised very useful techniques for CG compositing, achieving very powerful contrast layers.

Also, Alex explains a lot of tricks on how to improve the large scripts.

Great technique using deep-matte to create the burning effect on the assaulted construction, and for the fiery head of the snake.
