Giulia Tabone - Texture Showreel 2024
Hi! I'm Giulia Tabone and this is my first entry for The Rookies Awards 2024 as a Texture Artist! I hope you can enjoy it! Thank you!
GRAMOPHONE
In this first work I modeled and textured a turntable gramophone.
For the box modeling and UV part I used Autodesk Maya, while for the additional details I worked on ZBrush.

Reference
My goal was to create a gramophone that was very detailed and ornate, with a vinyl record on top. This is why I looked for references that went in that direction.

Modeling
Then I moved on to the modeling phase on Maya.

The next step was creating the UVs.

Texturing
Once the UVs were finished, I switched to Mari and started working on the textures, giving more details in ZBrush and exporting the bump maps.
DIFFUSE - BUMP - ROUGHNESS
Finally I exported all the texture maps to Maya and rendered in Arnold.

JAPAN TEAPOT
My second work is a teapot inspired by Japanese culture.
The project was done almost entirely on Blender, except for the textures which were done on Substance.

ENVIRONMENTS - EXPERIMENTS IN ARCHVIZ
These are three works that I did to experiment with modeling environments suitable for architectural visualization.
The creation of these environments was done on Autodesk Maya, as was the lighting.
Shading, texturing and rendering were done on Arnold.
