Various Robots In The Field
These are robots I designed in My quest to become a concept designer: The sniper Robot, The autonomous zero g asteroid mining lamp, and the bipedal armor piercing shaped charge suicide bomber robot! I hope you like them as much as I do!
Sniper Tank Drone Concept: My Latest Robot is A more disposable alternative to a tank to counteract UAV drone attacks. I started off drawing different tanks inspired by pill bugs as well as modern and WW2 tanks trying to strike a balance between the future and past. My design greatly improved experimenting in blender with a combination of Subd, Non destructive poly modeling, and geometry nodes. I'm not responsible for the textures, plants and rocks but I am responsible for modeling all parts on the robot.
The Design:
Zero G Mining Lamp Bot in a geometry nodes cave: This robot was my first project learning plasticity which is why the design is relatively simple. I based the head on the sensor units in surveillance drones, and the spikes on the bottom are supposed to be aerospike ion thruster hopefully creating a Near future sci-fi design with character.
Anti Armor Legged Bomber: This robot is inspired by birds, the Cassie bipedal robot and the German magnetic anti tank shaped charges from WW2 combining abstract graphic shape design with functional mechanisms! The hip joint mechanism and complaint spring joint in the ankle are some of my favorites!
