THE POWER WITHIN YOURSELF

Pemala is taking care of her forest. She feels the presence of a strange flower in her forest. Left alone in this forest for many years, she never had part of the beauty of flowers since they were never growing there. Getting closer to the plant, it reacts to the hidden powers of Pemala held within herself. Because she had an emptiness inside herself of discovering more she is the one that gives life to flowers in her forest. 

Pemala, the main character of the story is the protector of her enchanting forest. This forest is the places she lived for many years far away from any interaction with humans. 

In the illustration for the environment, I started by blocking in colours that work well together. In the second picture, I give an example of how I check the value of a work by turning it black and white, making it easier to spot the changes I have to undergo. 

Meet the character, Pemala. Here is my approach to my exploration of my character, a curious, brave, amazed young girl. I wanted to make sure I highlighted her character and that people could emphasize her curiosity toward beauty.
