SHAPES IN THE SPACE

Hello! I am Kevin Soncco, a Peruvian architect who has ventured into the fascinating world of architectural visualization. For the last seven months, I have been a student at VOXEL SCHOOL. In this time, I have learned that the composition of an image is fundamental from its earliest stages. Each element must be carefully thought out and positioned to create a balanced and attractive composition. I discovered that an architectural image should not only be static; It must transmit emotions, tell a story and connect with those who observe it.

Tianjin Binhai Library / MVRDV + Tianjin Urban Planning and Design Institute

The Tianjin Binhai Library, a cultural center with a luminous spherical auditorium around which bookshelves unfold from floor to ceiling. The wavy shelving is the main spatial device of the building, and is used both to frame the space and to create stairs, seating, ceiling and even facade.

The shelving is arranged on both sides of the sphere and acts for everything from stairs to the seats, even along the ceiling to create an illuminated topography. The angles and curves are meant to stimulate different uses of the space, such as reading, walking, meeting and discussing.

Together they form the “EYE” of the building TO SEE AND BE SEEN”

GREEN SPACE

Step into an oasis of tranquility with our jungle-inspired bathroom, where greenery in all its splendor captures the essence of nature.

The walls are adorned with tiles in deep green tones and natural hues, creating a lush backdrop reminiscent of dense jungle foliage. Strategically placed tropical plants add life and authenticity, while bathroom accessories in natural materials such as wood and stone complete the organic atmosphere.

VINICUNCA ECOLODGE

Symphony of Height, Refuges that Dance with the Mountains.

The design of this house is not based on the traditional architecture of the valley, but on the mountains that surround it. We focus on two essential elements: the soil and the roof, to create a microcosm, a small inhabited mountain that emulates the populated peaks that make up the cultural landscape we have inherited.

The architecture of the ecolodge stands out for its use of materials that create an attractive and modern visual contrast. The pink concrete, with its warm, earthy tone, provides a contemporary touch that stands out against the lush green vegetation.

Thank you, my time as an architectural visualization student at VOXEL SCHOOL has been transformative. During this time, I have constantly sought my unique style in every image I create, exploring new techniques and approaches to express my ideas more effectively.

This continuous search for my style and the exploration of the expressive capacity of each image are aspects that I will carry with me in my professional career, thus enriching my work and allowing me to continue growing as a visual architect.
