3D Character Animation

Como podĂ©is ver, este es el trabajo que he realizado en los Ășltimos meses. Where I have worked on cartoon styles and acting.

The Laboratory - Cartoon

This animation has been my first contact with the cartoon style. I did it in the last module of the master's degree. I was scared and very excited to use this style of animation, well, I finished it a few weeks ago.

In this animation, we can all the creation processes we can go through. In this work I have learned how the initial idea changes and is modified to the needs of the plan, and how no matter how much it hurts, we should not get attached to a single idea.

For this animation, I was sure of the character I was going to choose, I wanted to try something new, far from typical human physiology. This little purple vampire named Rudy is completely different from other characters I've animated before. I thought it was a new challenge and honestly I was not wrong. Well, thanks to Rudy I have been able to research and try to imitate the flight of a bat and how it could move.

The first thing I did was some sketches of what I wanted the scene to look like and what actions I was going to do, like drinking, getting dizzy and flying. When I had the base, I started creating the environment, I was sure what I wanted the palette to be and how the environment would look.

In this animation, I wanted to try how to move Rudy in a very cartoony way, so I tried to push the character to the limit, deforming and even turning him into a ball. Finally, I added 2D effects, such as action lines and water, and sound effects to give the viewer a better experience.

Well, at this point, I hope you like it and enjoy my work. I assure you that I have enjoyed and suffered every momentof the process.

Thank you very much for your time, this is all for this year, we will see you again at the next Rookie Awards with other new projects.
