"What She Wrote" is written, produced, and animated by me (other important contributors are credited at the end of the video).

Frustrated that her father shared her writing without her permission, pre-teen Stella runs into the woods to get rid of her stories. Instead, her stories come to life and envelop her whole. She must come to terms with her relationship with her father and her self-esteem to make it home.

Below is a progress slider from my final comp to my animatic stage. Fun fact: when storyboarding, I gave each location its own background color that I ultimately used to create the final shot color pallet! This location's background color started with a de-saturated brown.

I'm also developing an animated series called "Love and Lightning." "Excellentricity" is the proof of life short film I made to get this show on the road.

With the supervillain Sir Satfire raging against homophobia, Excellentricity is left in the awkward position of attempting to save people who hate her and occasionally who would rather die than be saved by her. Violence ratchets up on both sides, and Excellentricity must decide who she wants to save.
