A Revolver asset that I have done at Futuregames for a game project. I used 2K textures.
Smith & Wesson Model 3 - Game Ready Asset
Working with references is essential while making a game asset. After deciding the model, I gathered some references and to create metal and wood material I especially had a look at the material examples.
Modeling has been done by using Blender.
I did not create a high poly model and I tried to have a mesh which is optimized well.

Texturing has been done by using Substance 3D Painter.
Firstly, I have created wood and metal smart materials in Substance Painter. During the process, I have checked many references for the wood and metal. As a next step, I applied my materials to the mesh but changed some of the material properties and parameters to get a better result on my mesh.
Base Color - Ambient Occlusion - Roughness - Metallic
Rendering has been done by using Marmoset Toolbag 4.
For the rendering, I imported the mesh and the textures to Marmoset. I set up the lighting and took the renders.
