SHOWTIME!!

After an electric casino owner catches a frantic sorcerer mid-robbery, he must impress the audience of the Showtime!! Casino in order to take home an enchanted herb that he desperately needs.

Showtime!! is a collaborative animated short film written, directed, and animated by the two directors, Grace Ha and Leonne Chang. Over the course of SVA's spring 2023 semester, the film went from an elevator pitch to a fully composited and scored short film. Showtime!!'s visual style is a combination of the directors' art styles, with a fantastical twist on vintage casinos and performative magic. The film was brought to life in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere.
