Short Film Oscar Mishaps - Arthur Lookdev

During my 3rd year at ESMA I had the opportunity to work as a team with Jean-Gabriel Michel, Maxence Corriette, Léo Maestracci, Marcel Vanderweyen and Abishek Padmanaban on a 30seconds short movie which involved a medieval knight character which I was responsible for all aspects excepted the grooming and the modeling of the armor.

Bust - Cyclop Monk

Here is the bust project I've been working on 16 weeks of this 3rd year at ESMA, this project showcase Lighting, Lookdev and Sculpt.

For the concept part I've been highly inspired by Ognjen Sporin works and decided to go for a blue monk with a traditionnal robe and leather stuffs.

I went for a more intimist shot so we can see all the sculpt details I tried to have on the face, trying to match the complexity of all the old faces references I had was for sure kind of the most challenging thing of this project. The unusual shapes of the facial hair was also a big challenge, more work beforehand to find out what type of hair I wanted would have made my job easier and probably given me a better result.

Rolling Teapot

This was a project done at the beginning of the year, we only had to texture and shade the teapot in order to learn Mari, the model was from Brice Laville.
