Work I've compiled from helping in various student films and personal projects. Did most during my time in SCAD Atlanta, but continued to work after graduating.

Hello! Decided to show off some of my work. As a recently-graduated 2D Animation student from SCAD Atlanta, I contributed to some student films and developed some personal work.

Animation Supervisor for Chupacorn

Dir. Jasper Nylund

Oversaw the completion and quality of all the animation of our student film Chupacorn. Worked alongside Harry Barnes to make sure we were on time, delivering work we were happy with. This went from looking at the storyboards (by our incredible director), doing the character layouts and moving into rough animation. After that, we'd cleanup, do inbetweens and send the completed animation to get colored. Throughout this process, Harry and I gave notes to our artists to ensure everything moved beautifully and worked together. Our incredible production manager (Lucy Adelizzi) helped out with inbetweens and color. ^^

For the last scene of our film (below), I animated the Chupacorn in the very back, Harry animated the hug and Jasper did our protagonist, Chick, running towards the Chupacorn post-hug. We were touched seeing how all our work came together in the very end.

Character Animator for Bunny To The Moon

Dir. Akira Maynard, Justine Fong and Sammy Liu

During my time in SCAD, there was a graduate-level class that was looking for artists/students that would focus on certain the senior films. This class included Bunny To The Moon and Vainglorious

One of the directors wanted to redo shot 51 (below). Previously, the animation was transitionary, a movement that connected the previous scene and the next, but he wanted Aurora to have a quiet moment to herself, reflecting on what had to be done and in a sense, maturing. I hope I conveyed that and I think they were pleased with the outcome.

Character Animator for Vainglorious

Dir. Gabriel Ugbodaga

Vainglorious and Bunny To The Moon provided most all scenes with live-action reference of the acting they wanted. Both took the time to film and distribute the reference when handing out the scenes and this was wholly appreciated for the next two scenes.

Have You Eaten?

Dir. Pavida Changkaew and Brina Huynh

Did character layouts and animation. For shot 17, 19 and 21 (below), I was tasked with animating 19 and reformatting 17 and 21. Since different artists worked on those scenes, when they cut back, it would shift. By the end, they all worked together seamlessly.

Beyond

Dir. Florence Wu

Tightrope

Dir. Emma Vines

I've always found rig animation a tad scary, an unexplored world. Given the opportunity, I tried to do some rig animation (below), be it, a newspaper clipping. It's a start.

Personal Work

As I continue my journey as an animator, I want to keep doing all I haven't.
