URBAN ARCHITECTURE

This project was a collaborative effort with Millerhare Visualization Studio located in London. This was a real previous project of the area Kings Cross in London. Millerhare provided us with the base and models and we got to work with the concept, lighting, materials and camera angles. The brief was to create a descriptive view that would provide a comprehensive perspective of the building and its surroundings.

I was assigned the Granary Square. I aimed to capture the lively area with retail and restaurants, especially highlighting the huge impact of the water fountins - brining more life to the square.

Project length: 3 weeks/ Software used: 3Ds Max, Corona, Photoshop

THE VILLA

In this project, our task was to create an appealing and precise image using CAD drawings provided by Alingsås Huspaket. The villa, which we modeled ourselves, had to be placed somewhere in Scandinavia. We had the freedom to choose lighting, camera angles and materials. This was also the first time using V-ray for rendering. Furthermore, we held several meetings with an architect to showcase how collaboration between visualizers and architects operates in real-world scenarios.

PROPERTY MAKEOVER

The brief was to find a house in great need of renovation and explore its potential. A room were to be renovated, in my case the kitchen. I based my choices on the target audience, ‘the newly oved in couple’ and selected decor, props, and materials accordingly. The house is located in Malmö, Sweden.

HOTEL IN RWANDA

This collaborative project involved multiple groups, each tasked with designing a new hotel in another country. Our specific assignment was to create a concept that integrated with the local history and culture. Our designated area was Rwanda. Within my group, we divided responsibilities for various aspects of the hotel. Regular meetings and check-ins ensured that our individual contributions would harmonize effectively in the final result.

Prior to starting the project, we made research on Rwanda's culture. Drawing inspiration from this, we envisioned a modern hotel that would reflect the culture through its choice of materials, color palette, and interior design. I chose to visualize the lobby, paying particular attention to enhancing the materials with strategic lighting to complement the earthy color scheme, with focus on enhancing the outdoor environment surrounding the hotel.

IMPALA

The chair project involved creating a 3D model of an existing chair entirely from scratch, using reference images. The goal was to achieve realism by applying appropriate materials and textures. Once the chair model was complete, we captured both a studio photograph and a promotional advertisement image. I chose Impala made by Gillis Lundgren, 1972.

MATTE PAINTING

This project was the first one I created using only Photoshop. The project was completed by incorporating different photos, along with a breakdown of the process. In the process I learned to judge the quality of different photos and choose the correct photos for their intented purpose. Light and colour, focal length and subject matter all play a major role in the result. My personal choice was a snowy evironment featuring distant mountains against an open field with frosty water.

Project length: 1 week/ Software used: Photoshop

ABSTRACTION

The purpose of our first visualization project was to select a work of art to interpret into an interior space. The room did not need to be functional; what mattered was aligning with the vision portrayed in the art using the same colors, materials, and lighting. I chose "kale Juice with Seaweed Chips" by Nino Yuniardi.

Project length: 2 weeks/ Software used: 3Ds Max, Corona, Photoshop
