Guldemann Leo - 2D Animation

Hey everyone ! I'm Leo, and here's the best of my work. Hope You'll like it !

This first animation is my short film "Badminton POP!". It's a solo project I worked on during two weeks this year.

My goal was to show how much of an aerial and versatile sport badminton is, by letting lots of space for the sky in my pictures, and by opening the film with a really dynamic shot.

Here are researches I did with those gidelines in mind :

Enfer Sur Terre (Hell on Earth) is the graduation short film I worked on this year. Here are some of my animations

The story takes place at Universe.co, a company where are created the planets of our universe. Nobody there is available to take care of a brand new planet, "The Earth", except the janitor of the company. The film shows his many tries to take care of the earthians and there insaciable thirst for violence.

I had the role of lead animator, compositing artist and storyboarder during the project, and I did some model sheets for our main character, Walter :

Finally, here are 4 animations I did during the last year

Those are projects based around character movements and bodymechanics.

My goal is always to give personnality and thoughts behind my characters eyes (even if they usually consists of only two dots). I also try to use their whole design to the most, by showing them interacting with their clothes or body features.

The first animation is on paper, I drew everything on white paper with a black pencil, and inverted the colors in post.
