A 3D motion graphic Title Sequence inspired by a greek story, of achilles, where he battled and died historically with patroclus. In this title sequence, I express the pain and bloodshed of war, gilded in gold and broken ceramics. Achilles and Patroclus, frozen in time as statues. Love wins all.
A title sequence inspired by Greek Mythology. The tale inspired by a greek story, of achilles, where he battled and died historically with patroclus. In this title sequence, I express hints of the pain and bloodshed, gilded in gold and broken ceramics.
Beginning with the monsters in the dark, and the gods watching over them, achilles is barely revealed yet vulnerable. Within arms reach, the hands never touch but the connection grows forever through the war.
The sunlight piercing Patroclus back like the arrows, the blood covers them in gold. The blood lost and death approaching. Love wins in a war.
The statues of Achilles and Patroclus are frozen together at the end. The statues never crumbling, only to be written in stone for eternity.
