Eric Wiseman - Mentorship project

The aim of the project was an in-depth study of Marvelous Designer, Real-Time Hair, Unreal Engine 5, and hard-surface modeling. The original design belongs to the magnificent artist Eunice Ye.

My special goal was to master rendering in UE5. Along the way, I managed to learn material setup, a bit of landscape design, and even a little VFX.

I made textures for hair cards in Maya xGen. 
They are placed both ways by hand and with a plagin CG Curves

This was my final project for Intermediate term at Think Tank Training Centre online

In this project, I wanted to focus on hard surface modeling, trying to convey complex and interesting textures such as armor and old fabric. I also wanted to execute a project in a style that's not typical for me, in a dark aesthetic akin to Mortal Shell.

I used Marmoset for rendering him.
