Zerek | Realtime Character
As someone with a non-art background who joined a Games Art Master’s course with little 3D experience, I felt the need to catch up to my peers in the industry. So, for my first university submission, I approached this project by treating it as a launchpad that would take me through the entire character design pipeline.
The timeline for this project from the start to the project deadline was around 5 weeks. Making this character has taught me many skills and exposed me to new concepts, techniques and software. As a novice, this project has been a challenging endeavour, but, it has been very rewarding. Looking at the result I can say I am very much pleased with my progress.
