Hello! I'm a 3rd year animation student who loves experimenting and these are some of my personal and school work that I did.

Cyborg Candy land

A stylized 3D render of a robot cat living in a candy land.
This is my attempt in a painterly stylized texture using Substance Painter and MAYA.

For this project I referenced from is Brandi Milne's artsyle.

Through this creation process, I have learnt how to study and analyze art styles, using colors and textures to bring out the look. I also learnt how to use lighting to bring out the stylized look in the final render.
I have also encountered some challenges along the way.
I did many trials and error in order to find different colors that could harmonize well and deciding where to put them strategically.
At first my rendered shadows where also too harsh and dark, taking away the softness to the piece. Hence, I experimented with various shadow colors and softness.

Chinese Mage 3D sculpt

Concept art belongs to Largo art on ArtStation

This is my attempt in sculpting using ZBrush and I'd say I really enjoyed the process of it!

This creation process allowed me to familiarize myself with Zbrush interface and also their tools, how to use various brushes and tools to improve my sculpt. I also realized the importance of references, things such as anatomy references and the concept art are important in creating an accurate looking model to the concept art.

Forest Watchlet

A small personal project I did.
I wanted to design a big creature that seems mysterious at first glance but it's actually just a curious and silly guy. It watches and protects a magical forest. And it also "befriended" a fish by accident when it accidentally got its tail bitten while being curious about a nearby water puddle.

In this project, I used substance painter to texture the model. I was studying materials and learnt how to use the different maps to create the materials.

This was a small light-hearted project I did for fun so I hope you will enjoy it too.

E.V.A 3D model

Sleep Walkers "E.V.A" concept art by Alejandro Tio Gary on ArtStation

A character model I did on MAYA.

This is to study human character topology. It was quite challenging to keep the edge flow at first, but I was glad to be able to get the hang of it after redoing it a few times.

Thank you for viewing!
