High-rise walkway with a killer view, fragrant food stalls tempting weary travelers, gleaming motels for a quick crash – it's your one-stop shop for a breather. Soak in the neon sprawl, grab a bite, snag some chrome - Konpeki Street's got you covered.
Konpeki Street: From Concept to Creation
This project began as a focused exploration of the vibrant neon aesthetic and immersive street environment found in Cyberpunk 2077. Initially envisioned as a concise 10-second scene, the project organically evolved into a more detailed and bustling cityscape vista. This transformation reflects the iterative design process, where each element informs and inspires the next, ultimately culminating in the rich environment showcased in this entry.
Visual Inspiration and Texturing Techniques
The visual foundation of Konpeki Street draws inspiration from the rich cyberpunk aesthetic established in Cyberpunk 2077 game. Additional visual references were carefully selected from reputable online sources
The texturing process played a crucial role in bringing Konpeki Street to life. Quixel Mixer served as the primary toolset, allowing for the creation of intricate and visually compelling textures for props and environment elements. Blender's texturing capabilities further enhanced the final product by providing granular control over specific parameters, such as roughness, ultimately contributing to the street's realistic and visually striking appearance.

The Hologram Dancer
The captivating hologram dancer in the opening scene draws inspiration from the Joi character in Blade Runner 2049. This hologram dance was created entirely within Blender using its powerful geometry node system.
Konpeki Street: A Neon Dream Realized
Inspired by Cyberpunk 2077's neon glow, Konpeki Street blossomed from a simple concept. Blender became my all-in-one tool, transforming my creations with powerful lighting and rendering magic. Quixel Mixer then added the magic touch, bringing the textures to life. GIMP helped with final details, and select Sketchfab assets filled the scene. Now, Konpeki Street stands complete, a vibrant haven bathed in the neon pulse of Night City.
