Round of applause for our sponsors

First year archviz student at Yrgo, cheap ramen connoisseur and creative genius.

These are just some of my titles, in all of their very humble glory.

The Chair.

Our 3rd project focusing on detail modeling.

Eames-designed and easily recognisable EA 117 office chair, modeled from scratch in 3ds max in glorious high-poly fashion.

Rendered using Corona with post in Photoshop, approx. 2 weeks total work from project start.

The Villa.

Project nr 5, first exterior.

Typical modern take on the swedish archipelago vibe, lots of natural wood treated with various concoctions, some that bleach in the sun and some that darken.

Modeled from scratch based upon blueprints of ready-to-build villas from Alingsås Huspaket.

Rendered in 3ds max using VRay with post in Photoshop. Roughly 2 weeks total from project start.

The Monolith.

The 6th project, photoshop matte painting.

Probably our most controversial project to date, some loved it, some absolutely hated it.

The cause for controversy was partially the fact that we had to generate the main structure of our images using Ai according to a set of semi-random parameters. Mine were "pavillion" and "mountains", luckily being one of the best possible combinations for creative freedom.

The image was stitched together in Photoshop, using resources from the original Ai-generation in Midjourney, Adobe Firefly Generative Fill and a couple of photos of the Icelandic Highlands. This image was created in 1 week from project start.

Prompt for the building, using Midjourney: Architectural concept sculpture in snowy moody mountains, 50mm focal length, 4:3 aspect ratio.

The Hotel.

Our 4th project, simulating the process of designing a hotel concept.

The assignment for this group project was to design 3-4 rooms for a hotel concept. Each group was given a location, ours being Joshua Tree National Park -  California, USA.

We were responsible for one room each and I had the pleasure of creating the bar/dining area.

Rendered in 3ds max using Corona, post in Photoshop with a total project finish time of about 2 weeks.

The Renovation.

Project nr 2, perspective photomatching and interior modeling.

This project started with finding a suitable home listing online, in dire need of renovation. We were then to photomatch the existing images in 3ds max and then proceed with creating a remodeled interior of two separate rooms. The goal was for the final images to resemble real home listing pictures.

Images rendered in 3ds max using Corona with a total project finish time of approx. 2 weeks.

CAM001.

Personal passion project, detail modeling and animation.

Purely imagined, compact point-and-shoot camera.

Images and animation rendered in 3ds max using Corona with post in Photoshop and After Effects.

That's all folks. :)
