Tranquillity at a camping site. (Part of a bigger project in mind but i like this environment alone) Mainly explored Maya and Houdini before this so it was a new experience for me c:
This is part of a bigger project I had in mind, but I liked how this section looked on it's own so I've decided to share it too c:
Explored making some FX in Blender 4.0 recently, focused on the water ripples, the toon/painterly texture and appearance for the rocks and the fire.
Water ripples was made to react to any object that intersects it's location. Followed a tutorial on youtube for this: https://youtu.be/uOXagWeOAv4?si=xzZkF0k-aG_jCAd_
The singular rocks were modelled and textured procedurally in Blender (they deform based of their xyz parameters), fire was a deforming geometry that's made and textured in blender.
The rocky ground was a free model on blenderkit, textured by me with a similar texture on the singular rocks though.
Below is a a frame that's enhanced on Photoshop, for the fun of it.
