This is a story of a girl who is navigating in a world where ancient traditions meet the ever-evolving modern world. With her grand-father teaching her the ways of the old, but she wants to embrace the new while preserving the lessons from her ancestors, so she consults him for wisdom.

(This was the final project in the course and the longest animation I've every done so far. I wasn't sure whether to showcase this as it's unfinished but my mentors encouraged me to share it.)

THEN WHAT!?

This was an exercise in my course on dialogue, making sure to accentuate the expressions. We got the choose to create a character or choose our favorite one. I choose Carl from Disney Pixar's UP. The dialogue came from Avatar the Last Airbender in episode 17 of season 2 with Uncle Iroh.

First, I wanted to make sure that I had the character design as accurate as possible. I'm sketching the rough expressions with references of the character to match what I was going to do in my animation. Second, I roughed out the poses of the acting in the key frames for the animation.
