A collection of work from the past couple of years in Ringling's Motion Design department!
Hello!
I'm Kendall! I'm a student at Ringling College of Art + Design, and this is a brief collection of my motion design work. While melding various mediums, my work is often playful. Enjoy the show! : ))
Just Five More Minutes
As probably one of the most relatable phrases out there, this piece is a simple plea for a little extra shuteye. It’s also my first jab at adding cel elements to a 3D animation to sprinkle in some doodle charm.
A flip clock is a meticulously engineered device that tells you precisely when to wake up. Despite all of the cautious placement that goes into each piece, sometimes you just want to smash the alarm when it rings in hopes of sleeping in.
FutureProof 2025 | The Journey
This journey encourages fellow motion designers to keep pushing through the tight deadlines, simultaneous projects, and everyday chaos to reach the possibilities in store, which RCAD's FutureProof conference reminds us of.
Design and animation of the event's brand identity, from title sequence to merchandise, created in collaboration with Chaewon Kang.

Slithering Still Life
Imitating the stereotypical classical still life called for realism. This project was a learning curve in realistic texturing, dramatic low lighting, and organic modeling.
However, this still life isn't entirely motionless. Something moves inside, breaking the frame.
Workin' Like A Dog
As a first dive compositing in Nuke, this project integrates 2D animation into a non-digital frame from self-shot live footage.
Inspired by a new canine addition to the family, I created something playful with hand-drawn textures and the stiff movements of a dog untrained for an office job.
Breakdown
Yayoi Kusama "Self-Obliteration" Exhibition
This moving poster advertises an exhibition of Yayoi Kusama’s short film “Self-Obliteration” and other thematically relevant works fictionally displayed at Ringling's Basch Gallery. The concept paints the gallery's architecture in her iconic red dots, mimicking the way she camouflages herself in the film.
