The Good Doctor Title Sequence

This is the title sequence made for the first season of The Good Doctor. The Good Doctor follows Dr. Shaun Murphy, a young surgical resident with autism and savant syndrome, as he navigates the complexities of working at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Despite his exceptional medical skills, Shaun faces challenges due to his condition. The show explores his journey and the dynamics with other hospital staff.

My colleague Joanne Jian and I collaboratively designed this title sequence. The style of this work aims to convey the rational, concise, and narrative feeling of a medical journal.

Overthinking

The project is a 44-second video exploring the theme of overthinking, merging live-action and 2D collage animation to portray the anxious journey of a person facing a deadline. It depicts her struggle with overthinking, leading to a mind explosion.

Utilizing a vibrant, mixed-media style, the project will use Photoshop and Procreate for collage materials, After Effects for animation and compositing, and Audition for music and sound effects.

Based on the novel 'My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry' by Fredrik Backman, I've created a simulated title sequence envisioning its adaptation into a visual medium.

Originally published in 2013, this touching Swedish novel delves into themes of love and relationships, all seen through the perspective of a young protagonist. With Backman's adept storytelling, the book intricately weaves together the power of narratives and human emotions, offering a heartwarming and captivating experience.

Through my creative process, I've crafted a title sequence that encapsulates the essence of the book, providing a visual preview of the enchanting world it portrays.
