P-51D Mustang

This was a two-week project done for the Savannah College of Art and Design. This plane was my first vehicle using sub-d modeling in Maya. I rendered the scene in Unreal Engine 5 using Quixel for the foliage.

My first-ever vehicle is a North American P-51D Mustang. Modeled in Maya, Textured in Substance Painter, and rendered in Unreal Engine 5. The entire process took around two weeks.
I started with box modeling using a blueprint to line up the plane's outline then moved on to quad-draw the panels and details to separate later. Finally, I used Sub-D modeling to get the details right.
