Toad has a Question and Other Short Animations

Thank you for checking out my little reel for the Rookie Awards!  This is a collection of 2d animations created in ToonBoom Harmony 22 Premium and Krita.  Most of them were done for my 2d Animation Foundations course in college, but I made the blooming rose and the text cards specially for the Rookie Awards.

My animation process is pretty typical for a beginner, which means a lot of time studying other animations.  For the walk cycle, I actually watched a bunch of 'Dr. Livesy Walk' memes as references!  To animate the blooming rose, I studied time lapses of roses blooming in real life, as well as the blooming  of some 3d animated flowers.

This is the animated sketch from the rose animation.  I'm sorry about the frame where my colour swatches randomly appear!   
If I were to redo this animation, my first change would be using more obviously different colours for the different elements of my sketch.  That definitely would have sped up the process.

Lastly, here is a picture of my setup in Krita!
