Magic teacher Handpaint

3D handpainted character based on a concept art i made.

At first, I wanted to make a much more dressed character; however, I decided to remove some elements to "lighten up" her outfit a bit. It was the first time I did hand painting. To achieve this, I created the base in Substance Painter and used a material to bake the lights, which greatly helped me to orient myself. Then I painted over it in Substance Painter. I learned a lot during this project, whether it was through retopo or baking. I asked for a lot of feedback for the hand painting, which helped me.

I made it in class during 2 month thanks to Alexandre Collonge for his feedbacks !

Cuistory

3D PBR characters I made for a group project over 4 months. The goal was to create cartoon characters that looked like they were made of modeling clay and had a childlike appearance. I learned a lot during this project because it teach me to work quickly. Each characters spent about 1 to 2 weeks to made, which was something I was not used to before.

Sculpt Cariel

This is a 3D character in PBR texture i did in january 2023 for a school project, it took me about a month, concept art by Alexandre Leoni. It was one of the first time i made a complete character (retopo, UV, bake) i did learn a lot and i enjoyed to do it.

I made it in class during 1 month thanks to Alexandre Collonge for his feedbacks !
