Macallan Bottle / Fake Chanel AD

The Macallan - Whisky Bottle 

This was an exercise made at VFX-Workshop where we had to make any bottle we wanted

I chose one with a "little" bit of sculpt, I've made each hand individually without base mesh

Here comes the tricky part, LIGHTS

Since this bottle was uncommon, and hands were a big part of it, it was really hard to light the bottle correctly, I have a nightmare light setup to catch some interesting edges.

Fake Chanel AD

I wanted to make a quick project, and challenging myself by doing a video instead of images.
So 4 full days of work, I had in mind to make an AD for social media, respecting as much as I can the design and also the "spirit" of the brand. Went for mostly black and white image, with slow camera motion and a piece of music of Edith Piaf to match the feeling I was looking for.

I also had fun with embergen creating an explosion with smoke that i used as a mask in nuke to end the video

Very fancy and waste of time but hey ! enjoying the process is a thing too !

It was also handy to learn embergen, a new tool for me, which is quite cool on small scale scene 

I used the 3 point light classic setup and tried to not add too much to the scene
