A third-year student film about overambition and burnout! Overzealous Icarus is a steam-powered robot eager for a job well done. He takes on more than he can chew in an attempt to impress his boss, which results in catastrophic disaster.

Up to Snuff
The process from roughs, to cleans, color and composite! All animation work including compositing was done in Toonboom Harmony. It was fun problem-solving and learning all about the Node system.
All backgrounds were painted on Clip Studio Paint EX or Adobe Photoshop. If necessary, background paint was handed over to the BG Paint team to finish up.
