Japanese Forest - Food Truck
My name is Lorea Garbizu, this is my first time participating at The Rookie awards. These are two projects I've made during my formation in Voxel School.
Japanese Forest - Realistic Environment
I made this forest during my master in Voxel School. My task was to create an Environment either realistic or stylized. I chose to make a realistic environment.
Many of the props within this environment have been downloaded from Bridge. The two most important props, in my opinion, are the trees and the temples, which were made by me.
The Trees
The trees were made in speedtree, this has been my second time using this software and even if it has been a bit complicated understandig it, I believe it has turned out pretty well.
The Temple
On the other hand, the low and high meshes and the UVs of the temple were made in Maya, the textures were made in Substance Painter. The only thing of the temple that I haven't made myself are the roof tiles, the 3D object was an already existing asset of Bridge I only texturized it again because I needed other colours.
Concept Art
I made this realistic environment using the concept art made by Sylvain Sarrailh.
Food Truck - Stylized Prop
This food truck was also made during my master in Voxel School. This time my task was to make a prop, and like last time I could choose to make it realistic or stylized. In this case, as I already had chosen to make a realistic environment I chose to do this prop stylized. Like this, I could practice both styles and get better at them.
Everything in this prop was made by me. I made all the 3D modelling in Maya, most parts of the high poly excluded. That was made in Zbrush. The Uvs were also made in Maya and the texturing was made in Substance Painter.

This food truck was made using the concept art made by Olga Permiakova.
