These are 3 short animations I made to practice and showcase my skills. The first is "The little scared vampire" a funny story about a little vampire, second is "The count of Mount Fuji", a tribute to Count of MonteCristo, and finally "Cry of the forest", which is the intro of a longer animated work I have in progress.

This is the story of a little vampire called Victor, who lives in a ruined abbey in the middle of a cemetery. While his family is outside hunting, Victor is afraid of the dark, so he likes to sleep with all his candles well lit. However, his naughty cat Belial likes to scare him off and a storm is coming, so Victor is in for a little surprise...

What if the Count of Monte Cristo was set in Edo period Japan? And what if all of its characters were cats? Here is how I imagined it. The count is also a tribute to my cat, who was my loyal companion for many years...

The forest is a magical place, but it is under threat by  human exploitation... I started this project imagining the story of some forest creatures that have their lives tragically broken by the hands of men. And then nature fights back, transforming one of her last creature in a powerful spirit of vengeance that takes revenge by destroying and freezing everything around. Finally, life can come slowly can back and peace be reborn.
This video is just the first scene, setting the beautiful and pure environment of the forest before humans arrive.

This time lapse shows how I drew the forest background for my scene - using Procreate.

This is the main animation in the scene, with the little bird eating and flying away - made with ToonBoom Harmony. The final edit of the video was a combination of ToonBoom and Adobe After Effects.

This is the concept art for the main characters of the project (not yet animated), a flying squirrel and an artic fox, and the spirit of the forest.
