Project: Dullahan

Total polycount of Character: 168,796

Total polycount of Weapon Prop: 9,066

Concept art before resizing on scope made by Gabriel Buckner

Project Dullahan is my most recent character that I made within a time span of 4 weeks for a hardsurface sculpting class at SCAD. I pushed myself to not only make a character of this quality in a more limited time span than how I usually made my characters, but I also pushed myself to make a character without the use of metallic mapping.

Project: Leviathan

Total polycount: 28,535

This is the first project in the hardsurface  sculpting class at SCAD where we had to concept an antique firearm with a bladed element. For my project, I concepted a harpoon fantasy gun that you could find in a chest in a video game. The name of this gun is "The Leviathan", as it is a reference to the Leviathan represented through legends of the sea serpent itself.

Project: Ghost Pirate

Total Character Polycount: 78,329

Total Weapon Prop Polycount: 1,091

Concept art by Francis Tneh

This is a character I made for my portfolio class here at SCAD. I always wanted to make an undead character to add to my portfolio and I eventually discovered Francis Tneh's Ghost Pirate concept. This character overall was a huge optimization focused test as well as a texture focused study.

Project: Ellie, the Vagabond

Concept art by Gabriel Buckner

I made this character for my ITGM 446 course here at SCAD. In this class, we experimented with Metahuman via wrapping the rigs from a Metahuman model onto our own custom characters in which then gives us a wireframe as well as the facial and body rigs to work with. The style reference is Love Death and Robots episode 1, Three Robots (as you can see in the custom fanart logo I made for the borders in the idle animations).

Special Thank You:

Josh Russ for providing his environment he made for his ITGM 336

Max Wu for rigging the mechanical arm

Drew Hill for providing inspiration for the drone designs

Nathan Stoddard for providing inspiration for the mechanical arm design

Project: Siegfried Mech

Concept art by Gabriel Buckner

[In a future where demons and monsters ruled the world leading humanity to the brink of extinction, humanity needed a hero, even if they had to build one themselves]

Project Siegfried Mech is a character I made for the ITGM 346 course here at SCAD. The style reference is Marco Plouffe's archangels in the Keos Masons Neo Apocalypse series.
