I worked in this enviroment design for 5 months until the final cinematic edit.

Music: Daft Punk Horizon Overture

Gaea: Landscape.

Maya: Modeling, uvs.

Zbrush: High poly sculpt hero asset/ high poly trim sheets.

Substance 3d Painter: Texturing/ baking high poly.

Substance Designer.

SpeedTree: Foliage.

Adobe Premiere Pro: Post Effect cinematic edit.

BREAKDOWN

I start with a modular planning for my scene after having designed the terrain in Gaea and made a quick blocking. 

Once i have a general image of my main focus in the cinematic, i started making the textures as well as my trim sheets.
