CLIENT BRIEF

Greentech Construction as a building construction service provider, taking up design and build contracts as well as offering project management expertise by using eco-friendly construction methods “IBS precast system”. To deliver the best quality service to clients, Greentech aims to “Build Sustainable Future and Develop People Culture” by providing a sustainability, employee wellness, and collaborative working environments to nurturing “Greenstar” body, mind, and spirit and build up a loving and caring team. 

CONCEPT TITLE: COHESION

KEYWORDS OF CONCEPT: MODULAR, CONNECTING, DYNAMIC

MODULAR:

The idea of modularity inspired from Jenga, where players need remove the blocks to keep the tower stable. Similarly in construction, buildings are constructed and assembled using hundreds or thousands of modular components. These components fit together like pieces of a puzzle, forming a stable and functional structure.

CONNECTING:

While in IBS, steel bars are inside concrete slabs make them assembly stronger. They also help connect one slab to another, to create a firm and sturdy structure. 

DYNAMIC:

The dynamic reflects the journey from an empty floor to a finished building. It's the process of transforming empty space step by step into a fully functional structure.

FINAL CONCEPT FORM:

COHESION

The title “Cohesion” brings the meaning of a fantastic embodiment of teamwork and collaboration within Greentech members. Each modular piece represents a team member, emphasizing their crucial role in Greentech's success. Just as every piece is essential in building a structure, every team member is vital for achieving Greentech's goals. The “Cohesion” concept in this project is expressed through the staircase design, wall design, furniture selection and projection of space planning. This approach shows how spaces work together seamlessly and making the space more connected and functional. This concept wants to build a collaborative working environments that able to cultivate a strong sense of community and teamwork within Greentech.

RECEPTION AND OPEN COLLABORATION ZONE (Staircase)

Concept mainly applied to open collaboration zone that build up from pieces concrete modular that assembly by steel bar to make them more stable and stronger represented teamwork and collaboration within Greentech members. 

Recycled concrete panels can be a sustainable and environmentally friendly option.

LOUNGE AREA WITH VOID

A void was opened. Ventilation concrete blocks with water feature wall till 2nd floor and vine plant used to keep air circulation and fresh. The water sound that brings white noise able to reduce stress and improve concentration.

GROUND FLOOR PANTRY AND SAMPLE LIBRARY

Known as the stretching zone, this area allows employees to relax and stretch after long periods of sitting. It offers exercise equipment like a steel-pipe monkey bar, a rock-climbing wall, and a ping pong table.

BREAKOUT ZONE 

Having a breakout zone provides employees with a designated space to take short breaks, recharge, and relax, which can enhance productivity and well-being.

RECYCLE STATION

Provide a public recycling station to enhance its image, reduce construction waste, save costs, comply with regulations, engage with the community, protect the environment, and position itself as a leader in sustainability. 

OPEN WORKING SPACE WITH BAR ZONE

Office designs feature open spaces and bar zones to encourage collaboration, boost morale, foster creativity, improve well-being, and create a modern, flexible work environment.

2ND FLOOR PANTRY

Pantry for employees use. Allows employees to relax and stretch after long periods of sitting. It offers exercise equipment like a steel-pipe monkey bar, a rock-climbing wall, seatings, snacks and beverages. 

A partition board divides the CEO and manager's office from the pantry, enhancing privacy while allowing employees to record or update daily progress on it.

LEISURE ZONE WITH VOID

Vertical louvre window keeps air circulation and allow sunlight in. The vine plant enhances the air quality and lower down interior temperature.

CONFERENCE ROOM

The conference room includes extra bench seats to accommodate more attendees, promote flexibility in seating arrangements, and ensure everyone has a place to sit during meetings.
