Here are various personal projects that I have completed over the past year involving stylized characters. You will notice that many of them focus on the same universe as League of Legends, as I am a big fan and my future wish is to work for Riot Games. I hope you will enjoy them!

Hi everyone!

Here is different personnals projects realized this year, hope you enjoy it!

Just a girl

My first personnal project after studies, that made me around 1 month.

The concept art is realized by William Moiriat.

The part that gave me the most trouble during the high poly phase was the torn skirt. I didn't really know how to handle it, and now I think I could have done much better.

For the topology, I didn't want to exceed 15,000 faces. The entire model has 12,949 faces and 25,690 tris.

I made all the textures with Substance Painter. I separated the different elements into several UV sets for better visibility, which I then merged in Photoshop.

I always start by separating each texture with different masks, using very bright and distinct colors for better visualization. Then, once everything is well defined, I can apply the right colors and finally work on the texture.

I integrated the World Space Normal map into the specular to add color nuances to the tattoos and symbols.

I made three sets of UVs; the first and second include the whole character and the jar, and the third consists of the hair.

I rigged and skinned the character before using Marmoset for the final renders.

K/DA CODE: PINK Evelynn

The second project is a fan art of Evelynn from the game League of Legends. I came across the concepts and splash art created by @Richydraws, @Yoomyoom, and @Emriikun, and I decided to make the 3D model.

Evelynn is a succubus, so it was necessary to give her an attractive face and body. Also, the hair posed a challenge, especially in terms of hairline placement.

The entire model has 17,060 faces, amounting to 33,262 triangles.

There are two sets of UVs, one for the character and the other for the hair and tails.

After rigging and skinning it, I replicated her signature pose from the game.

Braum - Ruined King

The third project was the first male character I created. So, I wanted a very muscular character to work on a completely different shape. My choice fell on Ruined Braum from League of Legends, and the inspirations for the modeling are varied, whether it be the PC game, Wild Rift, or the cinematic "Tales of Runeterra: Freljord".

The concept art is realized by Philip Karlov

The face was very fun to do. I used several references of the character, whether it be from the PC game, Wild Rift, but I particularly liked his face in the cinematic "Tales of Runeterra: Freljord," in which he appears.

The entire character has 12,636 faces, totaling 24,082 triangles.

For the textures, I drew inspiration from the work of Anna Lopina.

I aimed a hand paint style and didn't want to use a normal map. I painted mostly by hand.

I didn't want to use more than 2 sets of UVs.

I rigged and skinned the character before using Marmoset for the final renders.

Sira - The Relic Huntress

Right now, I'm working on a shape that's even different from what I've done so far. I wanted something humanoid but quite different, so I chose a Yordle, specifically based on the concept art by Amandine Oltra.

The face is different from what I'm used to doing, with big eyes, chubby cheeks, a much more "animal-like" nose, and the long ears typical of Yordles! But I had a lot of fun making it! My inspirations were based on the Yordles from the game League of Legends: Ruined King, but especially from the cinematic "Tales of Runeterra: Don't mess with Yordles," particularly the character of Tristana. My second inspiration for the face was the character of Vex from the same game.

I sculpted the hair entirely and then added some unruly strands.

I started working on the weapon in ZBrush.

The entire character has 17,441 faces, totaling 34,118 triangles.

I hope you enjoyed it, looking forward to seeing you on ArtStation or Linkedin!
