Hello! I'm a junior who just graduated from school. I'd like to become a modeler or animator, but the road is still long. In the meantime, I'm having fun experimenting!
Here is my entry for the Rookies Awards 2024. This is my first complete project since graduating from Big Rock, and it has been very challenging for me to put into practice everything I learned in school. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
This is Carlo, a character created by Lidia Ponzoni that will be part of a group project currently in progress.
For this project, I was responsible for the character modeling in ZBrush, which I did in a T-pose to make it easier to rig and animate.
Afterwards, I moved to Maya where I modeled the eyes and glasses, and where I made the retopology.
The textures were made in Substance Painter, and I aimed to give them a mood of embroidered plush toy.
In the storyboard, this character includes a change of expression that involves only the eyes.
