Coal Street 

The project focuses on two main characters, Pei and Penny, who live in Coal Street.

Pei is a little girl who doesn't like to be restrained. A few days after she escaped from the orphanage, she met this talking stuffed toy on the roadside. After that, they managed to get along and tried to help each other find a place to live.

My intention for this project was to create a world design that people would be interested in.

Morning Market

Every September, Coal Street hosts a market celebrating the street's anniversary, lasting a month from opening to closing. This year is the 47th market and the first time for Pei and Penny to come here. However, this remote place seems unable to attract any big businessmen here.

爱 Am Stuck's Illustration

A long-distance couple could not see each other for a long time. Whenever they miss each other, their arms and legs get sticky and stuck to anything they touch like glue. It gets uncomfortable and hard for them to get on with their daily lives, but they persevered. Their sticky situation worsens as time passes and attracted unwanted attention. They become unwillingly popular, and if affected both of them and their relationship. Eventually, they both realize what they really want and need in their life, which was one another.

Opening Night

This is an illustration I created for my group project " 爱 Am Stuck". The protagonist in this piece of work is Hua Hua, an ordinary waitress in her family restaurant.  She became famous because of an accident and got invited to attend an opening night. There, she will be treated as a superstar. I want to depict the gorgeous and lively scene and Huahua's anxiety, who feels out of place in it.

This is also an illustration I drew for "爱 Am Stuck". After Jing Ming realizes he has the sticky ability, he starts to explore the limit of his power. This is the moment he climbs to the high place without any external support.
