3D Motion Design - Secretlab
This is a 30 second promotional video showcasing the Secretlab Titan Evo gaming chair. This showcase focuses movement, timing, and understanding of 3D motion design in Blender as well as sound design in After Effects.
About my project
Hi! This is my recent assignment where I produced a 30-second 3D product promotional video, exploring movement, timing, and 3D motion design in Blender. Over 7 weeks, I worked on everything from modeling and texturing to lighting and animation in Blender, followed by editing and sound design in After Effects.
The promotional video features the Secretlab Titan Evo chair, inspired by elements from Valorant's trailers and videos. The journey begins in a dynamic, futuristic environment, reminiscent of a Valorant's Champions 2023 trailer. The chair starts as cloud and lighting summons the gold accent of the chair in which it explodes ultimately revealing the chair itself while highlighting close-ups of the chair's intricate details and sleekdesign.
A lot of research was done into this where I needed to look for several references for my environment in which to make it look better than my main reference which is the environment that the Champions 2023 trailer has. Most of the assets as well as textures were all made from scratch as the assets that were available online were not suitable enough for what I was aiming for as I wanted it to convey a heavy sense of intensity to my viewers.
